ARRO Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I to join our team in Pennsylvania. This entry-level position supports engineering projects through design, calculations, field investigations, permitting, construction observation, and documentation.

You will gain hands-on experience while collaborating with experienced engineers and project managers. You will contribute to a variety of projects, developing technical and professional skills in a supportive consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Knowledge of basic engineering design and construction principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of engineering design documents, details, calculations, and drawings.
• Support the preparation of construction cost estimates, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Perform field investigations and document site conditions.
• Review drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
• Collect and organize project data (topographic, utility, site information).
• Assist with construction observation and site visits.
• Maintain project files and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Engage in client communications and meetings as needed.

Join Our Team as an Engineer I at ARRO Consulting!

The Engineer I supports engineering projects through design, calculations, field investigations, permitting, construction observation, and project documentation. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.

The Engineer I will contribute to a variety of projects while developing technical and professional skills in a collaborative consulting environment.

• Assist with the preparation of engineering design documents, details, calculations, and drawings.
• Support the preparation of construction cost estimates, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Perform field investigations and document existing site conditions.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with applicable municipal codes and ordinances.
• Collect and organize project data, including topographic, utility, and other site information.
• Assist with construction observation, site visits, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate project files, correspondence, drawings, and other documentation.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to complete assigned project tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in client communications and meetings as needed.
• Any other duties, as necessary, to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and uphold the values of the organization.

Required Skills/Knowledge

Physical Requirements – Work Environment

• Ability to operate a computer, general office equipment, and motor vehicle as required.

Daily Work Location/Hours

This position may be based out of any ARRO Consulting office, with travel to project sites and other locations as needed. The role includes a combination of office-based and field work depending on project assignments.

This is a full-time position, generally working Monday through Friday.
