Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking an affable and reliable Engineer to maintain daily hotel operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. You’ll be part of a 24-hour operation, delivering friendly service while solving issues quickly and effectively.

Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality, at least 2 years in a similar role, and a post-secondary diploma or degree as a bonus. The role is on-site at our Idaho property.

Qualifications

• Passionate about hospitality, Repairs/Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical with a minimum of 2 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel facilities and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general maintenance.
• Provide friendly, patient, and warm service when interacting with guests and colleagues.

About you…

• Passionate about hospitality, Repairs/Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical with a minimum of 2 year of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Experience in engineering, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
