Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the hotel.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical spaces for maintenance issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical problems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
  • Repair or replace fixtures, light switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, doors, locks, and other equipment.
  • Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
  • Maintain hotel equipment and building systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Complete preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Contract Duration: 6 months, with conversion to a full-time permanent position after successful completion of the contract
Pay Rate: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Hotel Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience to maintain the hotel's guest rooms, common areas, equipment, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with general building maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
