Job summary

Arcis Golf River Place Club in Austin, TX is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to uphold the building and all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

You will perform routine maintenance, conduct walk-throughs, train teams on safety, and ensure guest satisfaction with a well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• Maintain the physical structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure routine maintenance in public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, and grounds.
• Comply with energy management and preventive maintenance programs.
• Participate in safety training and fire prevention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-throughs to assess safe and efficient maintenance of the location's physical structure and systems.
• Verify completion of routine maintenance and repairs in all areas.
• Maintain energy management and preventive maintenance programs and train other departments on safe equipment use.
• Attend meetings related to hotel operations and health and safety standards.

SUMMARY

Maintain entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Essential Functions

• Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the location, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
• Verifies completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds.
• Verifies completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects in all areas.
• Maintains effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conducts special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
• Performs necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Actively trains in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems.
• Attends all meetings regarding hotel operations, i.e., department, fire, safety, health and quality improvement.
• Attend morning walk around as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
