Job summary

Arcis Golf is seeking a maintenance engineer at our River Place club in Austin, TX. The role covers all aspects of facility upkeep, including structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, with emphasis on energy conservation and preventive maintenance.

You will conduct inspections, perform repairs, and support safety initiatives while coordinating with other departments to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential maintenance functions to uphold facility safety and operations.
• Experience with electrical and HVAC systems preferred.
• Commitment to energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the maintenance and operation of facilities and systems.
• Verifies completion of routine maintenance in public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house spaces, and grounds.
• Verifies completion of repairs, replacements, and renovations in all areas.
• Maintains energy management and preventive maintenance programs and trains other departments.
• Performs necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Trains in fire prevention, safety, and engineering systems.
• Attends meetings on hotel operations and quality improvement.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facilities.
• Ensures a pleasant guest experience and effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.

SUMMARY

Maintain entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Essential Functions

• Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the location, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
• Verifies completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds.
• Verifies completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects in all areas.
• Maintains effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conducts special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
• Performs necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Actively trains in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems.
• Attends all meetings regarding hotel operations, i.e., department, fire, safety, health and quality improvement.
• Attend morning walk around as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
