A leading aerospace communication company seeks an Engineer, Fleet Support in Chicago. The role involves developing diagnostic tools, managing aircraft support, and resolving technical issues. Ideal candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree and possess extensive experience in the avionics industry, working collaboratively across teams to improve processes.
As an Engineer, Fleet Support you will play a key role in the Aircraft Fleet Support team responsible for developing hardware and software (HDW / SW) diagnostic and monitoring tools for the in-cabin system, troubleshooting remote and on-site issues of the Intelsat airborne systems. You will work closely with Operations, Development, and System Engineering to understand product functionality and drive defect resolution. Evaluate system designs in partnerships with Aircraft Engineering. Engage with the reliability and Quality teams to identify different hardware defects.

The annual salary pay for this position is $80,000 to $108,000. The annual bonus target for this position is eight (8) percent. In determining compensation, Intelsat considers factors including but not limited to position scope and responsibilities, candidate work experience, education / training, skills, and internal peer ranges.
