Toyota’sPlant Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivatedEngineer - Facility Projects.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage construction projects (greenfield, expansion, etc.) at production plants.
Reporting to the Manager of Plant Engineering Department (Construction), the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facility department's objective to provide project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants.
Technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards.
Development of criteria (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil/structural, etc.) for design of buildings.
Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management.
Plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs.
Ensure customer satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs.
Bachelor of Science (ME, EE, CE, ChME).
Intermediate level experience of computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods to support projects.
Ability to travel to support NAMC competitiveness.
Engineer in Training.
Experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.).
Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher).
Experience in industrial structural steel systems.
Experience in large scale civil installations.
