Qualifications

• Experience with embedded software using layered architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller-based systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver robust software.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation to ensure reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.
• Document software design and implementation details.
• Utilize diagnostic tools like emulators, debuggers, and oscilloscopes to verify code at the unit level.

This role involves working closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software for residential and power products. • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.
• Document software design and implementation details.
• Use industry-standard software diagnostic tools like emulators, debuggers and oscilloscopes to debug and verify controller software at a unit level. This includes occasional development of custom diagnostic software for specialized features or functions
