Job Title: Marine & Bridge Structures Inspector/Team Leader

Moffatt & Nichol, a leader in waterfront infrastructure projects, is seeking an Engineer with commercial diving and bridge inspection Team Leader certification. This role involves performing structural inspections above and below water, primarily in the Gulf region, with potential travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting site investigations of marine and bridge structures
• Preparing inspection reports, repair recommendations, and cost estimates
• Utilizing modern workflows including drones, nondestructive testing, and marine imaging
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Certified Commercial Diver (e.g., ADCI, HSE, DCBC, IMCA, ADAS, or military equivalent)
• Underwater Bridge Inspection and Team Leader certifications
• 1-5 years diving and inspection experience, including bridge inspection

Additional requirements:

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class D license
• Willingness to travel and pass background checks and drug screening

Work environment:

• Combination of office and field work, including diving and exposure to elements
• Physical fitness required for heavy equipment handling and navigation
