Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a DevSecOps Engineer II to implement cloud-based solutions in Azure and establish robust CI/CD practices. The role combines security with automation to accelerate deployment at scale.

You will work with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions to build reliable pipelines, collaborate with architecture and security teams, and ensure compliant, repeatable deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in DevSecOps with cloud services.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Azure cloud deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement application solution blueprint in cloud with CI/CD.
• Translate architecture documents to deployment artifacts.
• Create Kubernetes Helm charts and deploy in Azure.
• Build Terraform modules and IaC pipelines for Azure services.
• Configure applications using automation tools such as Ansible.
• Maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines and security scans.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Dev teams.

DevSecOps Engineer II plays a critical role in implementing application solutions in Azure cloud. You will act as a subject matter expert in Cloud and DevSecOps technologies to automate cloud deployments and enable CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement application solution blueprint in cloud with CI/CD


• Translate architecture document to deployment artifacts


• Create and Implement Kubernetes Helm Charts and Integrate Container deployment manifest files to deploy in Azure cloud environment.


• Build Terraform modules, and IaC pipelines to implement services in Azure cloud.


• Configure Application and Services by using automation tools such as Ansible.


• Create GitHub pipelines to deploy cloud native applications


• Document implementation and provide knowledge transition to other team members.


• Responsible for GitHub CI/CD, SAST as per GitHub branching strategies.


• Implement Application Architecture and assist in building containerized deployment.


• Implement DevSecOps engineering practices and ensure standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Architecture, Security, Project team etc)


• Participate in cloud design and build discussions as they relate to application.


• Work closely with Developers, DevSecOps and Cloud engineers for application implementation.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

• 5 years of professional experience in DevSecOps using cloud services.


• 3+ years of professional experience in Azure cloud deployments.

Preferred Work Experience

• DevSecOps development and deployment using GitHub actions workflows

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in any professional area with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT.


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Preferred)

Preferred Certifications

• Azure DevOps or Developer Certification


• Azure Cloud Certification

Knowledge

• Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, AKS, ACR, GitHub Action workflows, Terraform and Ansible. Python, Java.
