Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking an IT support technician to provide technical support for computer hardware and software, and to collaborate with department leadership to determine project priorities based on NRH strategic objectives.

You will also complete software inventory records and serve as a resource to diagnose whether performance issues stem from knowledge gaps, systems, or policy. Two certification exams are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with computer hardware and software, including installation, repair and troubleshooting
• Experience dealing with local area networks and installation of PC network equipment

• High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree in computer science, or technical certificate in computer related field, preferred

Experience

• Two years of experience with computer hardware, software, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting; and dealing with local area networks and installation of PC network equipment, preferred.

Licensure/Certification

• Two exams are required for this position. First exam is either or CompTia A+ or Microsoft Operating System Exam. Second exam required is an Advanced Microsoft Operating System exam or Manager approved Advanced CompTia exam.
