Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, a strong background in cloud infrastructure, and the ability to design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
  • Automate deployment and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and PowerShell scripts.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations for cloud resources.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
• Active Directory and UAM:
  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user authentication and authorization.
  • Integrate Azure AD with on-premises Active Directory for single sign-on (SSO).
  • Manage user access, permissions, and groups in Active Directory.
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and best practices.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and roles within Azure.

Required Skills & Education

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in cloud engineering, with at least 1 year focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Certifications: AZ-900 or AZ-104

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ERP software suite would be preferred.
