Williams International offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates as a Rotation Engineer in their Controls/Software area. The program includes rotations across various engineering fields, ensuring hands-on experience in engine control systems, software development, and testing, leading to a long-term engineering position. Candidates should have an engineering degree and software development experience in C++.
Who We Are

We are a company of creators who deliver pioneering ideas and technologies that lead the aerospace industry. Our culture fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to position our team members to inspire each other and provide quality products and supporting services that exceed the expectations of our customers. We currently have open Rotation Engineer positions in the Controls / Software area at our Pontiac, Michigan location.
The Opportunity
Recent college graduates that enter Williams International’s Controls / Software Rotational Engineering Program can expect to spend approximately six months’ time in each of two to three different engineering areas (depending upon previous coursework/experience). The rotation programs are coordinated with each individual engineer and typically include engine control design/test/certification, software design/test/certification, complex electronic hardware (embedded systems) design/test/certification, and engine/component development test support. At the end of the rotations, the engineer is placed into a regular engineering assignment. These assignments are coordinated with the rotation engineer and typically intended to meet both the corporation’s and the individual’s needs.
