Amgen seeks an Engineer - Complaints Technical Investigator to support the Complaints Trending and Investigation group in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will conduct forensic evaluations of complaint units related to product design or usability issues, support root-cause analysis, and help develop validation methods and SOPs for equipment use.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in science or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of operations experience.
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of operations experience.
• High school diploma / GED with 8 years of operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of returned product and batch records; review complaint histories.
• Provide input to engineering for product improvements.
• Partner with device engineering for structured failure analysis processes.
• Lead root cause analysis to identify failure modes in products and components.
• Generate final reports with data collection and statistical analyses.
