You will lead root cause analyses and cross-functional investigations of product complaints, leveraging data analytics and risk methods to drive improvements in medical devices and manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with engineering and quality, and the preparation of final investigation reports.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's with operations experience per basic qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of operations experience.
• Associates degree with 8 years of operations experience.
• High school diploma / GED with 10 years of operations experience.
• Advanced degree in science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis to identify failure modes for products with complaints.
• Perform failure analysis using tools like fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
• Lead cross-functional ideation of design solutions to reduce complaints.
• Conduct trend investigations and statistical assessments to identify patterns.
• Support evaluation of returned products, batch records, and history trends.
• Generate final investigation reports per procedures with data analysis.
• Develop relational data analytics to support investigations.
• Advise management on trend and process improvements.
• Provide input to engineering for product improvements.
• Manage, coach and mentor staff.
