Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for operations equipment and facilities at the Plainfield and Enfield Distribution Centers, including capital project implementation, commissioning, qualification, GMP improvement, BMS & QMBS support, Genetec support, electrical/instrument support, Veeva Vault support, and HSE program support.
- Manage system administration for BMS/QBMS platforms, including user access, alarms, data analysis, and lifecycle management.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Ensure regulatory compliance by partnering with QA to meet standards for equipment and automation systems, including documentation and validation processes.
- Support North American Logistics Operations audits related to Asset Delivery, BMS, and TSA security as Responsible Engineer or backup.
- Manage all aspects of capital projects, including requirements gathering, commissioning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Support maintenance and operations to meet regulatory and customer requirements, maintaining and overseeing BMS and security assets.
- Oversee installation, validation, and maintenance of building management systems.
- Ensure security and safety of physical assets and personnel, supporting safety initiatives and executing projects per HSE standards.
- Maintain data integrity and documentation quality.
- Support Veeva Vault documentation management for engineering and maintenance teams.
- Conduct deviation investigations and root cause analysis related to building systems.
- Prepare specifications, drawings, and estimates for bids, managing project activities to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Create and own site procedures, including validation master plans and business continuity plans.
- Participate in temperature reporting and security reporting activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, instrumentation, or relevant BMS technology qualifications.
- Minimum 4 years supporting Building Management Systems in an operations environment.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and building systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, water, and boilers.
- Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys BMS and GMP/regulatory requirements.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Knowledge of Genetec and Veeva Vault systems.
- Understanding contractor safety programs and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Additional Information:
- This role may require off-hours support and occasional travel to Enfield, CT.
