Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC systems
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Respond to maintenance orders promptly
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Minimum of two to three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not required: one year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
