Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Victor, NY. You will oversee property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms while performing preventative maintenance and responding to maintenance orders.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, with a minimum of three years in hotel maintenance. We offer daily pay and a robust benefits package to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, or technical discipline.
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, maintain HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Respond to maintenance orders promptly.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
• Must be able to visually inspect machines
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
