Job summary

BOOST LLC, a dynamic management consulting firm working with government partners, seeks an Engineer to support Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE) on aerospace and defense programs at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

You will provide systems engineering across hardware, software, networking, and waveform development, lead technical discussions, identify risks, and ensure requirements are met for interoperable avionics and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Math, Physics, CS or Engineering; ABET-accredited preferred.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience; on-site required at Pax River, US
• Active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for the MANGL family of systems including hardware/software and communications integration.
• Support design, development and sustainment of digital interoperability solutions across avionics and tactical platforms.
• Apply EMC engineering principles to ensure compliance and reliable system performance.
• Support IP networking, tactical data links, and radio network integration.
• Assist with waveform development, integration and validation.
• Support implementation and compliance activities related to CSfC architectures.
• Develop and present technical briefings and lead discussions with MANGL stakeholders, joint partners and cross-service teams.
• Identify seams, integration risks and performance issues affecting resilient communications paths and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all technical and operational requirements are satisfied during development, integration and test activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, program offices and operational stakeholders to align system capabilities with mission needs.
• Support testing, evaluation and validation efforts to confirm system interoperability and performance.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve integration efficiency, system reliability and mission readiness

The Role

The Engineer supports the Digital Interoperability DI Marine Air Ground Task Force MAGTF Agile Network Gateway Link MANGL family of systems by providing technical expertise across systems engineering hardware and software integration networking and communications technologies This role focuses on enabling resilient digital interoperability through design compliance testing and stakeholder collaboration Youll lead technical discussions identify integration risks and ensure operational and engineering requirements are met to support complex avionics and communications environments across joint and cross service partners

• Apply electromagnetic compatibility EMC engineering principles to ensure compliance and reliable system performance
• Support internet protocol IP networking tactical data links and radio network integration
• Assist with waveform development integration and validation activities
• Support implementation and compliance activities related to Commercial Solutions for Classified CSfC architectures
• Develop and present technical briefings and lead discussions with MANGL stakeholders joint partners and cross service teams
• Identify seams integration risks and performance issues affecting resilient communications paths and recommend mitigation strategies
• Ensure all technical and operational requirements are satisfied during development integration and test activities
• Collaborate with engineering teams program offices and operational stakeholders to align system capabilities with mission needs
• Support testing evaluation and validation efforts to confirm system interoperability and performance
• Provide technical recommendations to improve integration efficiency system reliability and mission readiness

Required Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Math Physics Computer Science or an Engineering discipline; a four year ABET accredited engineering degree is preferred

Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering roleMust work onsite 100 of the time at Naval Air Station Patuxent River St Marys County MarylandMust possess a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements
