Your Day‑to‑Day

Project Engineer supporting solar farm design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage engineering projects with advanced knowledge application, balancing cost, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee a team of engineers, guiding design development, permitting, and compliance for energy infrastructure.
• Support detailed technical assessments, engineering design reviews, and compliance verifications for power delivery projects.
• Bridge the gap between conceptual engineering and field execution, ensuring best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate and manage team members, ensuring technical compliance and project success.
• Manage 3rd‑party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects.
• Coordinate with diverse project team members—including environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers—throughout both early stage and construction.
• Apply value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems with knowledge of electrical, structural, civil, and materials engineering disciplines.
• Manage schedules and budgets for major capital projects.

Who You Are

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Experience: 11+ years of experience leading engineering teams and providing oversight for major energy infrastructure projects.
