The Virginia Department of Health Office of Drinking Water (VDH-ODW) is receiving applications for available environmental engineering positions in its Abingdon and Norfolk regional offices. These positions manage regulatory compliance, provide technical assistance, conduct on-site inspections, and evaluate submitted engineering documents for an assigned number of the 170 water treatment plants and 2800 public water systems in Virginia. VDH-ODW regional offices are collaborative, responsive, and committed to our goal of protecting public health and helping to ensure all Virginians have a safe and adequate supply of drinking water.
