Job summary

Four Seasons Naples Beach Club in Florida seeks an Engineering/Facilities Maintenance technician to execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy-saving tasks across the resort.

You will collaborate with hotel operations to ensure safe, reliable building systems, respond to guest requests and emergencies, and assist with renovations and installations. A high school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience are required; electrical/mechanical knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Three months to one year of related maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and update logs.
• Repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, and chillers.
• Support energy-conservation programs and renovations.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance in rooms or public areas.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires or power failures in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Engineering department and work areas.

What you will do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• -Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and updateappropriate logs.
• -Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers,chillersand associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• -Comply withFour Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth inEmPact.
• -Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• -Respond to guest callsregardingmaintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areain a timely manner.
• -Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
• -Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages andmaintaina organized department and hotel.
• -Install orrelocateanyadditionalequipment or existing equipment when necessary.
• -Assistwith energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• -Assistin the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

What you bring

• -High school education or equivalent experience
• -Experience required by position is from three months to one full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.
• -Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• -Working knowledge isgenerally learnedon-the-Job or through a series of professional certifications.
• -Requires knowledge of the ability tooperatecomputer equipment.
• -Ability to read and speak and write English.
