Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engine Development Technician to support the engineering community in developing hardware and calibrations for internal combustion engines. The role collaborates with Test Engineers, Calibrators, and Suppliers in the Engine Dyno Test Cells to ensure quality, durability and performance.

Based in Pontiac, MI, this fully onsite contract position reports to the Group Leader and follows the test plan, with responsibility for preventive maintenance, instrumentation, and

Responsibilities

• Supports hardware development and calibrations for internal combustion engines.
• Works with Test Engineers, Calibrators, and Suppliers to meet testing requirements.
• Prepares engines and installs instrumentation in test cells.
• Executes the test plan under supervision and follows test sequences.
• Maintains safe, clean test cells and documents procedures.
• Monitors test data and ensures proper line-up and setup.
