Job summary

Automotive Engineering in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Program Coordinator (Automotive Engine Systems) to support end-to-end engine system delivery within the Program Management & Engineering organization.

The role requires coordinating engineering, validation, sourcing, and manufacturing functions to meet development timelines and readiness milestones, with onsite execution and direct interaction with senior leadership during milestones and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with engine components, systems, and validation preferred.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers and internal partners to meet timelines and critical path activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and release base engine hardware by leading end-to-end engine system programs from approval through launch and lifecycle management.
• Develop and track program objectives, milestones, KPIs, risks, and readiness metrics across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate engineering, validation, sourcing, manufacturing, and business functions to align with product development processes and objectives.
• Oversee validation of engine component and system functions to support production launch readiness, including turbochargers and air handling components.
• Manage program status reviews, gate reviews, and executive reporting with issue resolution and risk mitigation.
