Job summary

Empire Cat in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Manager to oversee Power Systems projects from post-sale through final completion. You will coordinate procurement, scheduling, and execution, ensuring profitability and adherence to specifications.

You will manage BOMs, engine orders, submittals, and vendor communications, while maintaining accurate project records and supporting cost controls. Strong English communication and multi-project leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical) or similar field and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related experience; can substitute for degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proof of current valid CDL if required by position.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from post-sale through final completion, ensuring on-time procurement, execution, and profitability.
• Create and maintain electronic project records and ensure documentation is complete.
• Prepare engine orders, BOMs, RFQs, and purchase orders for all required equipment.
• Develop project timelines for material ordering, assembly, testing and delivery.
• Coordinate with Commercial Engineer for submittals, drawings, and supplier documents.
• Prepare service instructions and ensure accurate installation and configuration details.
• Liaise with inventory and accounting to manage costs and invoicing.
• Identify opportunities to negotiate additions not in the original scope.
• Ensure as-built drawings and documentation are provided to customers.
• Promote ownership and safe work practices.
