Job summary

You’ll maintain tools, attend training, document repairs, monitor costs, and work with the team to improve methods and safety. High school diploma and 3–4 years of experience required, with readiness for varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of experience preferred or required.
• Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble and assemble engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, final drives, and differentials to manufacturer’s specifications by following published procedures and industry standards.
• Performs designated repairs and rebuilds on customer or company-owned components.
• Documents repairs using appropriate software and tracks repair times.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, follows contamination control guidelines and performs general maintenance tasks.
• Attends required technician training classes and stays updated on technical changes.
• Monitors job expenses versus estimates and reports any cost overruns to the supervisor.
• Contributes to team by completing tasks on time and supporting safety and quality expectations.
