Arnold Motor Supply LLP is seeking an Engine Machinist to join our shop team. You will understand customer needs and craft engine machining solutions while safely operating and maintaining machine shop equipment.

The role requires managing diverse jobs, estimating requirements, and keeping customers informed throughout projects. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, able to lift 70 pounds regularly, and comfortable standing, walking, bending, and using computers as needed.

• Manual dexterity and able to operate precision machine shop equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Candidates should be mechanically inclined and capable of lifting 70 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, lift, twist, bend, walk and sit during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and create engine machining solutions.
• Operate and maintain machine shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Manage a broad range of jobs/projects across industries including agriculture, high-performance, diesel, vintage/restoration.
• Create accurate estimates for job requirements and allocate resources to meet specifications and timelines.
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout a project.
• Perform engine rebuilding, machining, and reconditioning of blocks, heads, crankshafts, flywheels, rotors, and other parts.
