Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead embedded controls development for engine control systems, combining hardware and software to deliver mission-critical aerospace solutions.

You will collaborate across engineering teams, apply control theory, model-based design, and rigorous verification to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with export controls and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM majors.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in embedded controls and software.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage engine control solutions using control theory and modeling.
• Ensure integration of hardware and software and document data per policies.
• Present or review technical and program progress in reviews.
• Collaborate with teams across disciplines to optimize control systems.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and export controls.
