Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking an Engine Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, simulation, and verification of engine control features. You will collaborate with process partners to refine requirements and develop a robust control strategy using dynamic feedback methods.

Responsibilities include building MiL models in Matlab/Simulink and GT-Power, performing frequency- and time-domain analyses, and delivering data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with process partners to develop and refine engine control system requirements.
• Develop and maintain Matlab/Simulink and GT-Power-based MiL simulations for control algorithms.
• Analyze and present data using Matlab, Python, and Vector CANape.
• Deliver timely, high-quality simulation-driven design analyses with actionable recommendations.

Collaborate with process partners to develop and refine engine control system requirements.

Utilize expertise in engines and dynamic feedback controls—including frequency and time domain design, Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) systems, digital signal processing, filter design, and logical control methodologies—to design and evaluate control features.

Develop and maintain Matlab/Simulink and GT-Power-based Model-in-Loop (MiL) simulation framework for use in design and verification of control algorithms.

Analyze and present data using advanced analysis and visualization tools such as Vector CANape, Matlab, and Python.

Deliver timely, high-quality simulation-driven design analyses and provide clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
