Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Engine Controls in Auburn Hills, MI. You will develop and integrate CDD for ECM/PCM functions on Infineon AURIX TC38x platforms, working with GTM timing and AUTOSAR BSW modules.

Responsibilities include sensing and actuation development, feature support like knock detection and injector/spark control, and collaboration with calibration and hardware teams during integration and validation.

Qualifications

Strong embedded C programming experience.
Experience with ECM/PCM gasoline engine control software development.
Hands-on AUTOSAR BSW integration and CDD development.

Responsibilities

Develop Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for ECM/PCM functions on ECU platform.
Implement engine sensing and actuation features (crank/cam position, engine speed).
Support engine control features like knock detection, spark and injector control.
Use GTM-based timing with TIM/TOM/ATOM modules for timing features.
Integrate CDD with AUTOSAR BSW modules (NvM, RTE, OS, Diagnostics).
Work with MCAL drivers and EB Tresos Studio for integration.
Develop and debug on Infineon AURIX TC38x MCUs.
Assist ECU software integration, testing and debugging with Lauterbach Trace32/ETAS INCA.
Collaborate with calibration, system and hardware teams.
