Job summary

The W Racingteam is seeking an Engine Builder and Technician in the United States to join our performance-focused team. You will oversee engine assembly, perform tests for performance and compliance, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to keep our race engines at peak.

You will diagnose faults with state-of-the-art tools, document procedures, and collaborate across departments to drive reliability. Strong teamwork, communication, and a passion for speed are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of internal combustion engines.
• Experience in repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot engine performance.
• Clear communication with customers to resolve issues.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with departments; support WRT values and ESG strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assembly of internal combustion engines.
• Assemble and test engine systems for performance and compliance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines.
• Diagnose engine breakdowns, identify failures, and repair.
• Document and report on maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and specialised software to analyse engine data and fault codes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engine maintenance and repair processes.
