Job summary

Boom Supersonic is seeking an Integration Engineer specializing in engine assembly to define processes from first build through production. You will create assembly sequences, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions while capturing knowledge for repeatable, high-quality builds.

This role requires hands-on experience with turbomachinery or engine assembly, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work closely with technicians and design teams to meet performance targets and scale operations

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting engine or turbomachinery assembly.
• Hands-on exposure to gas turbine, turbofan, or industrial engine builds.
• Strong mechanical intuition and ability to diagnose assembly-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Define and own engine assembly processes for Superpower from first build through production.
• Develop assembly sequences, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
• Capture, document, and refine engine assembly knowledge into clear instructions and build sequences.
• Partner with design, quality, and test teams to ensure assemblies meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Support hands-on engine builds, troubleshooting fit-up and assembly issues in real time.
• Drive continuous improvement in assembly efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
• Support engine teardown, inspection, and rebuild activities as designs evolve.
• Help scale assembly operations toward higher-rate production.
