Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a part-time Restaurant Server for Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida in Gainesville. You will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience from greeting to bill presentation.

We seek a candidate with a friendly, engaging demeanor, strong descriptive selling skills, and 2–4 years in food service. Knowledge of beverages and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Be accurate in order taking and confirm all special requests.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
