Job summary

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) seeks a Field Supervisor to assist in program management across several MSCR locations. Duties include purchasing supplies, delivering them to classes, and supporting instructors at multiple sites.

The role involves chaperoning trips, representing MSCR at community events, and assisting with special events such as Youth Dance Recital or Pottery Sale. Evening and weekend availability is required, with up to 18.5 hours weekly during the school year and

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation (car)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work nights/weekends
• High school diploma and two years of post-high school education in recreation, education, or related field
• At least one year coordinating, researching or evaluating recreation programs or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Purchase, deliver, and manage supplies across MSCR locations
• Support classes at non-MSCR locations by delivering supplies and assisting instructors
• Represent MSCR at community events and outreach opportunities
• Chaperone trips as needed
• Assist with preparation and execution of MSCR events
• Observe and provide feedback for youth and adult classes
• Fill in for weekend/evening shifts (front desks, Learn 2 Ride, Mobile Vehicles)
