Job summary

Collin College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to deliver physics/physical science coursework across campus locations. In-person instruction is required, with opportunities for evening and weekend classes as needed.

Candidates should hold a master’s degree in physics/physical science or an equivalent combination with graduate hours in the discipline, and teaching experience is preferred. Dual Credit assignments may be included, with duties aligning to college policies and core values.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics/Physical Science or a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in discipline/qualifying field.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to teach at multiple campus locations and possibly evenings/weekends; online instruction not included at this time.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and approved course descriptions.
• Assignments may be on multiple campuses or off-site locations and may include evening/weekend programs.
• May teach Dual Credit courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain standards in line with college policies and core values.
