The incumbent will implement instructional plans aligned with RCSS curriculum, monitor progress and participate in school activities beyond instructional hours as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education.
• Valid Georgia teaching certificate in the teaching field.
• Meets Georgia state certification requirements in appropriate field of education.

Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study that meets the needs, interests and abilities of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student.
• Reports to work on time and is prepared for all classes and duty assignments.
• Creates a classroom environment that provides student involvement in the learning process and enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
• Assesses the learning and behavioral needs of students on a regular basis and provides input for IEPs as needed.
• Maintains accurate and complete records as required by RCSS policy and administrative regulation.
• Establishes relationships with colleagues, students, parents and community reflecting respect for every individual.
