Reporting to the Principal or designee, you will implement lesson plans, supervise students, maintain records, and collaborate with staff.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or 60 college credits.
• Experience working with children.
• Preferred: MSDE professional teacher certificate (not required).

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Principal, Assistant Principal, Building Manager, or designee and perform duties.
• Provide instructional needs with an appropriate daily lesson plan from the classroom teacher.
• Create a conducive classroom environment and manage time effectively.
• Implement diverse teaching techniques using approved curriculum.
• Maintain fair, firm behavior to promote self-discipline.
• Follow established discipline policies and communicate professionally.
• Assist administration and staff in achieving school goals with ethical practices.
• Supervise students in various school settings and maintain records.
• Monitor use of equipment and facilities; ensure regular attendance.
