Job summary

Boulder Valley School District in Louisville, CO seeks a Paraeducator-Instructional to support students with basic classroom work, including computers, language arts and math, and assist the classroom teacher with prep and grading. This 0.50 FTE, 9-month, hourly position starts September 8, 2026, with a pay range of $19.30 to $24.92 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to read, write and speak English, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Complete and submitted BVSD online application.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with basic classroom work, including computers, language arts, math and research.
• Assist classroom teacher with preparing classroom work, copying, filing, and grading.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians about achievement and growth gaps.
• Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, and administration to support student needs.
• Provide basic technical support and instruction for Learning Management System and other tools.
• Supervise students during lunch, playground, and field trips, ensuring safety and proximity.
