Job summary

Kids Connection is seeking caring, energetic Extended Day & Camp Counselors for Foster City, CA. This part-time role supports elementary-aged children before and after school and during summer programs with engaging activities and positive relationships.

Responsibilities include assisting instructors, organizing materials, supervising students, and helping with daily operations. Requirements include being 18+, CPR certification, and willingness to obtain background clearance.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
College coursework in Education, Child Development, or related field is a plus.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain, and background clearance required.

Responsibilities

Prepare, organize, and set up project materials, lesson supplies, activity spaces, and classroom materials.
Assist instructors with leading activities, games, crafts, STEM projects, and enrichment experiences.
Support daily lessons and activities and encourage student participation.
Create a safe, welcoming environment for every child.
Supervise students during activities, lunch, recess, and transitions with active supervision.
Communicate professionally with students, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
Assist with school operations including lunch supervision and front office support.
Maintain organized, clean, and stocked classrooms and activity areas.
