Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all materials and equipment are safe and in good condition.
• Implement and follow all YMCA policies and procedures related to childcare and safety.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Attend training sessions and meetings to continually improve skills and knowledge in childcare practices.
