Job summary

iCook After School is seeking an engaging instructor to lead after-school cooking classes for K-4, teaching nutrition basics through fun, hands-on activities. Classes run afternoons 2–5pm, about one hour, five days a week across Rialto area schools.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule on a temporary basis. Candidates should enjoy working with children, cooking, and cultural food experiences, with reliable transportation and punctuality essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with large groups of kids (school settings, camps, etc).
• Enthusiastic about teaching, cooking, and nutrition.
• Strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school cooking classes for elementary students (K-4).
• Teach nutrition basics using provided lesson plans.
• Introduce basic cutting, measuring, safety, and table manners from curriculum.
• Purchase groceries for each class (reimbursed).
