Qualifications

• One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training required prior to assisting with restraining procedures and within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activity services for the assigned program, including implementing treatment goals and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Director of the Activity Therapy Department.
• Assist with a variety of patients in an engaging environment with a professional team.
