Maple Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Kingston, PA is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to support the activity program, including every other weekend and holiday. The role involves planning, developing, organizing and implementing activities under the Activity Director’s supervision, with a creative, outgoing candidate who can motivate residents to participate.

Qualifications

• Ability to motivate residents to participate in activities and events.
• Ability to plan, develop, organize and implement activity programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing the activities program.
• Assist in recording and maintaining records of resident's participation in activities.
• Assist with outside activities and groups for the residents.
• Conduct the scheduled activity programs in a timely manner according to the monthly activity calendar.
• Assist residents to and from the area where the scheduled activity is held.
• Assist with Resident Council Meetings.
