Job summary

ALICE S PLACE LLC is seeking an Activities Assistant to support our Adult Day Program. You will help plan and coordinate daily activities, schedule events, and collaborate with the Activities Director and care staff to ensure meaningful, engaging experiences for clients.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with the elderly and disabled, possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, and shows compassion, patience, and reliability in a busy team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar adult day program desired.
• Experience planning activities or events is desirable.
• Compassionate and considerate personality.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly activity plans and schedules for clients of varying abilities.
• Collaborate with staff to tailor activities to client interests.
• Create monthly calendars using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Lead activities and engage all clients during sessions.
