Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant (CNA) for a faith-based skilled nursing facility in Florida. You will lead engaging activities to promote residents' well-being and coordinate with the care team to tailor plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with a valid Florida CNA License.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engaging activities including live entertainment and off-site day trips.
• Follow individualized activity plans for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure activities align with residents’ preferences and abilities.
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions aimed at enhancing residents’ quality of life.
• Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes related to activities.
• Duties as assigned.
