Job summary

Country Meadows/Ecumenical is seeking an Activities Assistant in Harrisburg, PA for a part-time, on-site schedule. The role involves creating engaging experiences for residents and encouraging participation in arts and wellness activities.

The position offers a set schedule (8:30am–4:30pm) with every other weekend off, competitive pay, and a robust benefits package including health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and paid time off. A friendly, energetic environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for new and favorite experiences.
• Drive residents’ interest in a dynamic lifestyle to promote a sense of pride and purpose.
• Venture out with residents to theaters, museums, sporting events, restaurants, special destinations and more.
• Team up with the Activities Coordinator and/or Associate in preparing and planning on and offsite events and activities.
• Promote a positive, enthusiastic environment to motivate resident engagement.
