Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Wyomissing, PA is hiring an Activities Assistant for a full-time 9am–5pm schedule (includes one 11am–7pm shift every other week). You will create engaging experiences for residents and encourage participation in arts and wellness.

Starting pay is $16–$17.50 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience, plus benefits such as medical, vision, dental, a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred but not required.
• Energetic, personable, positive, enthusiastic, creative and imaginative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for new and favorite experiences.
• Drive residents’ interest in a dynamic lifestyle to promote pride and purpose.
• Venture out with residents to theaters, museums, events, restaurants, and other activities.
• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to plan on- and offsite events.
• Guide volunteers to create meaningful impact.
• Promote a positive, enthusiastic environment to motivate resident engagement.
