Job summary

You will help create and implement activity calendars based on residents' needs and preferences, document records, and encourage participation in Resident Council.

1–2 years of experience in social or recreational programs in healthcare preferred. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
• Assist in creating the activity calendar
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings
