Job summary

Complete Care West Caldwell is seeking a friendly, energetic Activity Aide to engage residents with group and individual recreation activities in a warm, family-like setting.

The role is part-time with Tue,T hurs, Fri, Sat 10am–5pm; you will motivate participation, help ensure safety, and assist with attendance and seasonal decorating. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Outgoing, creative, compassionate, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with group and individual recreation programs.
• Motivate residents to participate and ensure safety during events.
• Report resident concerns to the nursing team.
• Keep activity attendance records.
• Decorate the community for holidays and seasonal celebrations.
• Support the Director of Activities and Administrator with additional tasks.
