Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs.
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.
• Transport and escort residents safely to and from activities.
• Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and rooms in an organized and clean manner.
• Document resident attendance and participation in activities as required.
• Assist with special events, holiday programs, and outings.
• Provide companionship and support to residents who may not participate in group activities.
• Observe and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the Activities Director or nursing staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
